He is currently licensed as a Broker in Georgia & North Carolina. In 2002 he was approved as a Pre-license, Broker and Continuing education instructor. His experience in real estate varies from managing, selling and listing residential real estate to luxury homes, commercial investments, property management, and consultation transactions. In 1998 he received the Coldwell Banker Buckhead Broker “1st Year Agent Achievement Award.”
Curtis is a graduate of Rutgers University with a major in both History and Business Administration. He is also a 2003 graduate of the Clark Atlanta School of Business Commercial REAP program.
To add to his many accomplishments Curtis is a prior Military Captain (P) in the United States Army, Signal Corps and a Lifetime member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., NAREB Million Club Recipient, and a member of Dekalb Board of REALTORS®. Since 2004 he has taught the Georgia Instructor Workshops, pre-license and continuing education courses for The Georgia Training Center (AREU), Kennesaw State University, The Georgia Institute of Real Estate and throughout the metro Atlanta area. Curtis is the past Chairmen of the public relations committee for the Empire Board of Realtists. He has served as the Managing Broker for Apollo Associates Realty in Stone Mountain, GA and Associate Broker to many other real estate companies. Curtis is a charter member of the 5 Star Elite Toastmaster Club in Covington, GA and he is currently the Broker/Owner of The York Realty Group located in Tucker, GA, Senior Instructor for American Real Estate University and Director of the York Real Estate Institute.
