| | Johnell Woody is a real estate broker, licensed instructor, coach, trainer, volunteer and
pretty good cook. Johnell is passionate about real estate, devoting decades to the industry,
all the while promoting the importance of life-long learning.
Originally licensed as a real estate professional by the California Department of Real
Estate in 1972, there are few areas of the industry that Johnell has not experienced. Her
career has provided many unique opportunities that have tempered her insight and
approaches to educating prospective real estate agents, as well as "upping the game" of
already productive real estate professionals.
Johnell is an associate broker with Crye-Leike Realtors, Woodstock, GA and the education
director for WESTWOOD School of Real Estate Studies, Inc, Tri-State Academy, Inc,
instructor and nation-wide tutor, and subject matter expert to the real estate industry.
Johnell holds an Associate of Arts Degree from Cerritos College, CA in business law, real
estate emphasis, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Kennesaw State University, GA in
Integrative Studies with emphasis on psychology, communication and theatre and a Master
of Arts Degree in Integrated Global Communication. Johnell also awarded KSU
Leadership Program Certificate.
Johnell has served on or chaired too many realtor association committees in the past to list.
Currently she is a member of GAR Professional Development Committee, Director on the
GREEA Board, and Co-Chair of the REEA Education Committee. Johnell is under
contract to author a textbook on real estate finance for a California community college.
To Johnell real estate is not a job. It is a rewarding opportunity to serve her community,
help clients and customers with perhaps their most important investment – home
ownership, and to share years of experience to help new agents achieve their concept of
success, to include the added bonus of financial freedom.
Irony is not lost on Johnell who, as the scientific sort, was emphatic there were two careers
she would NEVER pursue – sales and teaching – now she does both! |
