| | Tamara Tapman is Vice President and VA/Military Liaison for SWBC Mortgage. As a former Branch Manager and Mortgage Lender Liaison for the Texas Veterans Land Board, for more than two decades, Tamara has been a devoted military advocate, helping veterans take advantage of their benefits and obtain low interest loans. She is a certified Texas Real Estate Commission Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE) instructor.
Before her employment with the Texas Veterans Land Board, Tamara was Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer and Compliance Officer for two financial institutions. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and a graduate degree in banking from the University of Wisconsin.
Tamara serves on the board of the Brooks Development Authority at Brooks City-Base. She is a member of the Association of the U.S. Army, Women’s Council of REALTORS®, San Antonio Board of REALTORS® and the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals.
