| | I am originally from Jacksonville, Fl but have lived up and down the Eastern Coast. I
have a wildlife ecology background with an MS in Biology from Clemson University as
well as a Master Naturalist certification. I was previously a sea turtle and alligator
research technician with South Carolina DNR then was the Head Naturalist for the Ford
Field and River Club in Richmond Hill, Ga where I worked extensively with the Real
Estate team and local developers to inform prospective new owners about the land
around them they would be purchasing, ease their minds about wildlife issues (like
alligators) and educated them on issues like green infrastructure and landscaping for
wildlife. I now work as the Coastal Training Program Coordinator with the Sapelo Island
National Estuarine Research Reserve, bringing science to local decision-makers and
informing professional groups on best practices that focus on the coastal Georgia
environment. |
