Jimmy served as a Senior Manager, Corporate Security for a Fortune 500 corporation in charge of Investigations and Training and is a former career Law Enforcement practitioner who served with distinction for a period exceeding thirty-one (31) years. The last nine (9) years of his command he served as Chief of Police in the greater Atlanta area. Jimmy holds a Masters of Science Degree in Sociology with emphasis in Criminology and a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Valdosta State University. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Quantico Virginia and the DEA National Training Institute, Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of the Gavin De Becker Advanced Threat Assessment and Management Academy and has studied under Park Dietz, Robert K. Ressler and many other notable behavioral experts. He is a former Police Instructor for the Georgia Public Safety Training Center and an adjunct professor at South Georgia College & Waycross College. Jimmy has served in numerous Professional Designations such as: International Association of Chiefs of Police, Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police and President of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. He has testified as an expert witness and has extensive media experience having appeared on CNN, 20-20, ABC News with Peter Jennings, Today Show, with Jack Ford, Fox Network with Paula Zahn, Fox Report with Sheppard Smith, NBC, MSNBC with Paula Brown, CNBC with Brian Williams and Soledad O’Brian. |
